Indulge all your senses on a walking tour of Palermo's rich street food traditions. Join a knowledgeable guide for a walk through the historic part of the city and its vibrant outdoor markets. Sample some of Palermo's unique street foods, such as sfincione (dough topped with onion, bread crumbs, tomato, and oregano), panelle (fried chickpea flour), crocché (potato croquettes), arancine (rice croquettes stuffed with meat or butter), and cannolo (crunchy shell with sweet-cheese). If you want you can ask to taste the bread with “meusa” (bread with spleen).

Watch the lively scenes all around you, observing what seems like another time.  During the 3-hour walk you’ll see the Capo street market that is a true mix of culture, customs, and food traditions, the Massimo Theater, the biggest italian opera house and you'll visit the Cathedral with famous Meridiana and the altar of Santa Rosalia, the saint patron of Palermo.  The tour finishes with a walk along the Cassaro (Via Vittorio Emanuele today) and a stop to see the Quattro Canti, the center of the historic center where you will taste the sweet Cannolo.

The cost of the tour is €35 per person (food tasting and a drink included). The meeting pointi is at 10:30 am in Piazza Olivella, in front of the entrance of the Salinas Archeologic Museum.

If you arrive in Palermo by cruise ship, the meeting point is at 10:00 am in Via Francesco Crispi 230, in front of the President IBIS hotel, just in front the port exit
